What is Attiva?
Attiva is an FDA-approved nonsurgical and noninvasive cosmetic treatment that uses Subdermal Induced Heat (S.I.H.) Technology to heat and deliver continuous fractional and sequential radiofrequency energy to the subdermal layers of the skin. It tightens the existing collagen structure of the dermis and, in turn, tightens and tones the skin, lifts the facial structures, and contours the body in targeted areas.
The treatment also stimulates collagen and elastin production to provide younger-looking results.
The device also utilizes Double Temperature Control to ensure patient comfort, a customized treatment experience, and safety every step of the way. And because the treatment doesn’t affect the top layer of skin, you can return to your normal routine almost immediately and never have to worry about scarring.
Attiva Treatment
When you come in for Attiva treatment, we’ll first administer local anesthesia to the treatment area. Once the area is numb, your provider will place a thin, flexible tube under the skin. The thin tube will emit radiofrequency energy and heat to the subdermal tissue. The procedure will also be closely monitored with a camera to ensure the temperature never goes above safe levels.
How long treatment takes depends on the size of the treatment area and the number of areas being treated.

Recovery & Results
Because there are no incisions and all treatment is done under the surface of the skin, there will be no noticeable change after treatment. You may notice some mild bruising, redness, and swelling, but beyond that, you likely won’t be able to tell the difference. That said, as you recover, you’ll want to avoid exposing the treatment area to excess sun and heat and avoid performing vigorous activities. You’ll also want to be gentle when washing the treatment area. You will be able to return to your normal activities 24 hours after treatment.
As for the results, they will slowly start to show up 4-6 weeks after treatment as new collagen and elastin are produced. Multiple treatments may be needed to achieve optimal results, and you’ll want to have repeat treatments every 4-6 months to maintain your results.
